I am a Registered Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience working with children and families. I work with children 4yrs of age through adolescence and offer family counselling as well as trauma informed parenting sessions. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma, Emotion Focused Therapy & Mindfulness. My focus is unresolved trauma which can manifest itself in anxiety, depression, physical or verbal aggression and a host of various behaviors & diagnoses in children. I also enjoy working with children and parents on emotional regulation. I assist parents in determining the root cause of behaviors and formulate a plan to address unmet needs.

I have extensive experience working with blended & adoptive families and children who have experienced abuse, trauma and loss. I am also a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner. I have received extensive training from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.
