While my passion is providing Play Therapy to children & youth, I also love empowering their parents to better understand, communicate, & advocate for their child.  The children I see are ages 4 and older, and often struggling with emotion regulation, issues of divorce, anxiety, trauma, social skill deficits, and/or learning problems. I also occasionally work with adults who are seeking strategies to manage stress, depression, anxiety, & interpersonal conflict. 

With 30 years of experience, including providing clinical supervision to other registered social workers holding a Master’s degree in the field of children’s mental health, I possess a wealth training to support my knowledge and approaches.  I regularly develop and facilitate trainings and programs for colleagues, parents, and children including Triple P, Circle of Security, Play Therapy applications for children, Vicarious Trauma, Burnout, and Empathic Strain, parenting through divorce, and many more.  However, I’ve learned the most from the families I’ve worked with and honor the insights you bring to the treatment plan when working with your child.
